2003 GSX-R 750 for sale in San Diego - $5200

Selling my 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 750 with 2003 exclusive paint (deep blue/white). Got married, don't ride any longer. Bike has 10K miles, steering damper, excellent condition, no accidents, clean title in hand (paid in full in cash when bought it), always garaged at my house. I've changed it's oil and K&N filter every 1,000 miles (actually about 800 miles or every six month).

How to select a wedding photographer - questions some photographers don't want you to ask

In this article I will give you an advise on questions that you should ask your potential wedding photographer. Despite a common believe that taking photographs is easy - it is not. At least it is not easy for an average person. It takes photographers a lot of time and money to develop their skills and style.
However, you as a consumer - should do your job in selecting the right person to take photographs of the event that hopefully will only happen once in your life. it is through sharing of information and education of consumers that we can hope for their understanding of time and effort that goes into planning a successful photo event.

Alright, the happiest day of your life is scheduled and now you need to line up the photographer. When you search for the right candidate ( by recommendations, online, in wedding magazines, or anywhere else), there a few things that you should know. Hopefully, the list below will help you choose the right candidate. Make sure to call them to ask these questions as e-mail is very impression and allows one to construct an answer that will not tell you what you asked for. So here we go!

MCSE, CCNP and other certifications - demise of certification centers

As recently as 2007, there were thousands of certification centers in the United States that have specialized in Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft certification series (MCSE, MCITP, MCPD, MCA, MCSA, MCTS and others) and Cisco's CCNA, CCDA, CCNP...
Right here in San Diego there were about 80 various locations for certifications and roughly 30 colleges and cert. centers offering the preparation courses. The biggest one - MicroSkills (which advertised heavily on TV and radio) went out of business right as the recession was approaching. Many companies have sensed it a mile away and others were simply disenchanted with
the whole certification industry.

Notable San Diego Photographers - Jen & Shane Fellows of AcquaPhoto.com

What makes a good photograph? For all the different possible answers - there is only one that is correct. While subject, location and gear are important - it is the photographer who provides the vision and does the best job possible with what's avaliable. Jen and Shane Fellows are two photographers who seem to have that vision that separates them from many other local "photographers". Take a look at this session at Balboa Park. What stands out are the wonderful colors of the images - very vibrant! The lighting is great primarily due to the time of day when the images were taken - no harsh shadows, no blown highlights. Some images are done in black and white but for a reason - because B&W works well for them. Many other photographers will resort to black and white when there is something wrong with the image - not in focus, poor colors, blown highlights, etc.

Fedex delays packages for no reason

For some unknown to me reason - a lot of people are looking for this post on my site. Since I've updated the site several times and ultimetly archived old posts, it was no longer avaliable. But due to all the trafic related to FedEx delays and sorting facility operation - I've decided to bring this post back.

Recently I have made purchase at my favorite online computer parts retailer – www.NewEgg.com. This retailer exclusively uses FedEx for all their shipping needs within the (I’m not sure who does their international shipping if any). Since NewEgg is a very popular retailer, they send thousands of packages every week. Normally pickup trucks would visit such retailer once a day  (some time around 3pm) to pick up fresh orders. Due to the size of operations (and as I noted above NewEgg’s volume is quite large), FedEx gives them special pricing based on that volume, plus special shipping benefits (such as two pickups in one day, empty trucks, dedicated trucks etc). One of those benefits is extremely low price on some shipments. In fact the price is so low, that NewEgg absorbs the shipping costs and offers free shipping on some items (it is possible that they earn the free shipping on a certain amount of packages due to their volume). Of course when you make a purchase you can pick how fast it should be delivered – options include the standard set – overnight, second day and regular (FedEx Super Saver). I always go for the cheapest possible option as time is not critical for me. With this recent purchase all of my items where shipped the same day I have placed an order (Friday). On Monday all of my packages were already in San Diego sorting facility and could be delivered, but they were not! You may ask – why weren’t they delivered? The answer is very simple – since my packaged left on the same truck as priority (or more expensive, faster) packages, they arrived to the destination sorting facility at the same time as the priority packages. But if FedEx delivers them within the same amount of time as the second day, or next day packages, then why would anybody in the world pay more for the same delivery time? So FedEx deliberately leaves regular packages at the sorting facility in order to make the difference in the amount of time it takes for the regular package to arrive versus that of a priority (more expensive). Now most people I know, would ask – why not deliver the regular package as soon as they can (which would be the same as second day package due to very short distance)? If they did so, they would probably gain more clients and businesses all over the country since they would deliver packages faster for less! But no, they went the other route – let the package sit and age just so they can say that their priority service is faster.

Had Washington Mutual and now got Chase? Watch out for your cash!

If you had WaMu checking account and since had your account converted to one of the Chase checking accounts, you may want to know the following rules that Chase will apply to any and all of your accounts. Some of these rules are strange, others are simply ridiculous:

 -    Unless you sign a paper releasing the bank of any liability in case you are robbed or assaulted when you withdraw large amount of money (cash) you can’t get your money. The issue is twofold:

     a) You can’t get YOUR money, unless you release all liability the bank may have. While this doesn’t sound like a big deal, read the point “B” and see why it actually matters.

     b) Imagine a scenario where a bank employee learns about you taking a large sum of money from your account and then tipping off local thugs…If during the investigation you learn that someone at the bank was involved – you can’t sue the bank for poor security, lack of employee background checks, or any other reason.
