Gentoo.org
Gentoo is one of many Linux distributions. What sets it apart from the others is its packaging system - Portage. Portage is a lot like apt-get in Debian. It downloads and installs packages, while keeping track of versions and stable/unstable releases. The reason why its better than apt-get is because Portage contains latest stable releases of almost all apps available. There are stable and unstable trees of Portage, but in most cases latest versions of the needed software can be found in stable, which makes this distro very convenient. Give it a try!
NewEgg.com
So far the best online shop for computer parts and related items. They have great prices, fast and often free or very cheap shipping. In most cases returns and refunds are not a problem, unless you are buying an LCD and have dead pixels. As far as computer parts go – they have the best selection, helpful user reviews and very fast shipping. Prices fluctuate a lot, and often a day or two may greatly affect the price. However, if you see something at a very low price, with free shipping – buy it. If you wait too long, there is a good chance that the price will go up a bit.
